SUPPLY CHAIN OFFICER

Reference: 03/HRM/2020

Salary Level: Level 05

Salary Package: R173 703

REQUIREMENTS: Minimum qualification: A senior certificate plus a three year Degree/Diploma in Logistics/Supply Chain Management/Public Administration or Management or equivalent qualification on NQF level 6 with a 1-year experience in Supply Chain Management environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: The purpose of this post is to render supply chain management (SCM) acquisition and demand services of Boxing SA.

COMPETENCIES: Good communication skills, both oral and writing; client orientation and customer focus; honesty and integrity; service delivery innovation, organizing skills, ability to work under pressure. Must have knowledge of Supply Chain Management procedures; the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa; Public Finance Management Act; Preferential Procurement Policy Framework Act; Treasury Regulations; Preferential Procurement Regulations 2017, Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment Act and its Code of Good Practice and Public Service Regulatory Framework.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key performance areas:

  • Render asset management service.
  • Render demand and acquisition services.
  • Provide logistical service support.
  • Compilation of SCM reports.
  • Management of Contracts.

Please Note: All candidates must be South African citizens or permanent residents. The position is based in Pretoria.
