It is just over a week into the new year and BSA has reopened its doors after the festive season break. We trust that you had a wonderful festive season with family and loved ones and wish you a prosperous year ahead.
As January marks the beginning of the calendar year it also marks the beginning of the fourth and last quarter of the BSA financial year. So far it has been an exciting 10 months of boxing with 53 tournaments staged so far with lots of developments administratively and in the ring. It has been an exciting period of discovering new talent, crowning new champions and seeing our various boxers successfully defending their titles at various stages, nationally and internationally.
The last quarter at BSA is also synonymous with two other annual BSA activities and events, i.e. licensing and sparring. Through this memo we therefore wish to remind all BSA licensees and interested qualifying members of the public about licensing for the 2020/2021 financial year. The dates for national sparring events are also contained in this memo.
As we strive to continuously improve our processes to make licensing efficient and convenient for all our licenses. We therefore wish to give assurance that we have noted and considered the various feedbacks we have received emanating from our last memo on licensing and in due course will address these for the betterment of the sport of boxing.
